Orient Road Child Development Center: Piano
Piano

In this introductory piano class, children will learn basic musical subjects (pitches, durations, dynamics, etc.), forms, music notes, keyboard geography, fingering, and notation through eurhythmics exercise and apply what they’ve learned to the piano.

Children will learn not only how to play but also how to make their own music through improvisation activities. Active listening games, such as canon, follow, and quick reaction, will be used to stimulate children’s listening skills and expand their musical ear in all activities.

Orient Road Child Development Center: Voice Lessons
Voice Lessons

The primary purpose of our voice lessons for young children is the establishment of fundamental musical and technical understanding, with the goal of a lifetime of healthy singing. Basic note reading, with an emphasis on sight reading and solfege syllables, basic diction, and basic voice maintenance and care are the three pillars of every student’s individual curriculum.

Introduce your young children to a second language, and you give them a chance at greater fluency and access to countless professional opportunities later on. Spanish is one of the most popular languages for children in the US to learn today. Teaching your children Spanish will expand their minds and enrich their lives in ways such as: being able to talk to more people, develop early language skills, get an academic advantage, understand English better, increase opportunities for travel, broaden cultural horizons, and expand future employment options.

Children benefit from an active lifestyle and participating in any sport. Partaking in organized sports provides a chance for young people to increase their activity and develop socially and physically. Gymnastics is one of the most comprehensive lifestyle exercise programs available to children, incorporating strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power, and discipline. Whether they are involved in recreational gymnastics or with a competition squad, skills learned in gymnastics can benefit a child’s overall development.
